History of Molong
The Millhouse Restaurant
Opened in 1981 it is the restored home of miller John Black and was built in 1878. A mill operated nearby until 1942 and burnt down in 1945.
The millhouse is now a restaurant and reception area for the Molong Motor Inn

Commonwealth Bank
The first Government Savings Bank agency was established in 1871 with the present bank built in 1930 the year the CBS became the Commonwealth Bank
Rural Lands Protection Board
Built in 1872, as the Post Office Hotel, the building was later used by the ABC Bank and the Bank of NSW. It was purchased for the Rural Lands Protection Board in 1934
It was restored to its original colours in 1988.
