On this great half day tour you will be driven over the property in six wheel
drive ex Army troop transports-the kind of rugged vehicle needed on a cross
country safari. They are fitted out with comfortable seats and portable
stairway for easy access.

You have read and heard that the kangaroo is becoming extinct! Soon only to
be found in zoos. Well we can prove to you, not all kangaroos are dying out.
You will see kangaroos, one of Australia's unique animals, wild and free as
the wind in their natural environment, not confined in any sense.

Australia
has 48 species of kangaroos, wallabies and their relatives - collectively
known as macropods - meaning 'big feet'. Their large hind legs are
always used in unison. Larger species are able to bound at speeds
up to 45 kilometres per hour and can soar several metres high.

Inspect Australia's famous merino sheep and see them shorn with hard learnt
skill by an expert shearer. See also the sheep man's best friend-the sheep
dog-showing remarkable skill mustering sheep.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE-FOUR HOURS
Bus arrives at property 22 miles from Orange via March Road.
Passengers transfer to six wheel drive vehicle. Tour of bushland.
See wild kangaroos. Six to seven mile cross-country trip to top of Sammy's
Mt. Panoramic views for up to 40 miles.
Bus meanwhile drives three miles to pick up point.
Passengers transfer back to bus for trip to woolshed-three miles.
Morning tea-pikelets and cream, etc.
Shearing of sheep. Demonstration of how hand blades used in old days.
Wool spinning demonstration on spinning wheel.
Mustering of sheep by sheep dogs.
Inspect cattle.
Feeding of pet kangaroo-pet sheep.
End of tour.
