Lyons Country Safari
Feel like getting out into the wide open spaces ? For the experience that is really different come on a tour of Yarrawonga, a sheep and cattle property between Orange and Wellington.

We will show you the great outdoors-away from the pollution of the cities-let your senses appreciate the good clean air of the Australian bush. The real Australia you want to see.

On this great half day tour you will be driven over the property in six wheel drive ex Army troop transports-the kind of rugged vehicle needed on a cross country safari. They are fitted out with comfortable seats and portable stairway for easy access.

You have read and heard that the kangaroo is becoming extinct! Soon only to be found in zoos. Well we can prove to you, not all kangaroos are dying out. You will see kangaroos, one of Australia's unique animals, wild and free as the wind in their natural environment, not confined in any sense.
Safari Truck

Australia has 48 species of kangaroos, wallabies and their relatives - collectively known as macropods - meaning 'big feet'. Their large hind legs are always used in unison. Larger species are able to bound at speeds up to 45 kilometres per hour and can soar several metres high.

Inspect Australia's famous merino sheep and see them shorn with hard learnt skill by an expert shearer. See also the sheep man's best friend-the sheep dog-showing remarkable skill mustering sheep.

Relax on a friendly trip through the beautiful countryside with panoramic views of your country of far horizons. You will see the highlights of country life and work and the animals that Australia is renowned for.
