Panel No.4 - 1938-1988
Contemporary

The glorious colours of the European trees with the distinctive Cabonne Shire Logo.
The soft pink of Molong bricks can be seen in The Yarn Market Craft Cottage, which was built by James Bowler in 1861.
The Coach House, part of 'The New Royal Hotel'of yesteryear is Workshop and Gallery of The Yarn Market. This is where the 'Yam Market Screen' stands, and where the stitching took place.
The Post Office is in the official colours of 1985-1988.
The Australian Flag flies near Haslam's Mill.
Prunus trees in bloom near the Railway Station, telephone and power poles with cables attached can be seen.
The silos built in the late 1920's to take the district grain harvest, are the first ones seen as you travel west on the Mitchell Highway. For decades the Windmill has formed part of our landscape. The 'crop duster plane' above the silos, stylised header, with crop in background complete this panel.
Not visible, recorded on Parchment, behind this panel are the names of all who worked to make this unique embroidery.
